no, it is not possible with their genetics..
if they use chemicals to straighten it then sure... but naturally you'll never find anyone of that race with stick straight hair.. might have less wave to it but thats the extent..

Genetically, all black people have kinky hair unless they have a mutation in the gene that types for hair type. If a person is mixed between black and another race, they will most likely have the kinky hair because it is a dominant gene. Sometimes, if the white or other-race parent has straight hair, their child will have straight hair. It is less likely that a mixed individual will have straight hair because the gene for straight hair is recessive to the gene for kinky hair.

Of course, black people can straighten their hair like anyone else using a flat iron or straightening perm.

If by black, you mean African descent, I don't think any have straight hair. There are Pakistanis and Indians (Asian) who are very dark skinned (as dark as any African) and they have straight hair.

sorry to burst your bubble but there are all kinds of mixtures of ';black'; or african descended people who have naturally straight hair. everyone's hair is different and not all people have to use chemicals. that is a big misconception about all black people having to straighten their hair. all different kinds of people have kinky hair including ';white'; people but everyone is so mixed up you would have to do DNA to know what features come from where. you can't just tell by looking at people. the straight of an african descended person will be diff than that of a white person just like the diff of that between an asian and white person. everyone has their own opinion about which is better and people are always trying to change hair,features, etc. there probably aren't many if any actual pure blooded africans or any other race for that matter. here is a link about one of the many types of mixings..which is native americans and africans... here are more explanations etc
sometimes native americans- who have very pure undiluted blood lines which are strictly indian...mainly navajo..- interbreed with black people...i think maybe the background of the black person has to be at least 3/4 or less...but when they have a baby, the child turns out to look like a native american with a little darker skin...and a slightly slightly big nose...but you probably wouldnt know they were black...i think u might find some pics if you look up black navajo ? actually, there was a navajo nation princess who was 1/2 black i think...she was raised as a navajo on the reservation....was interesting. lol she was more indian than the real indians...haha...not sure how her hair looked though...idk...good luck finding a pic...
i know a white girl who had a baby by a black guy, the baby had black hair and it is totally totally straight, sorry i dont have pic.. but believe me its totally straight.
it's rubbish when people say that genetically it's impossible.
i am unfortunately unsure of whether a friend of mine has two parents from africa or one african and one english, but he has african heritage and his hair is, although black, completely straight.
