What's a good product for jerry curls for a black man with nappy hair?

Ive used a few products like S-Curl texturizer and black magic but none of them seem to actually work, it simply simply softens my hair and when i put gel it makes a few curls but not many, and after a few it looks dry.

Try switching to a different brand of curl activator. There are many to choose from and they come in liquide, cream, and gel forms. For my natural hair, sans chemicals, I used to use a cream curl activator. You might have to try different brands and types until you find the right one.
